The Upsilon Mu chapter of Alpha Eta Rho was founded in March, 2005, and consisted of the members of the UMC Flying Club. As a result, the UMC Flying Club has become defunct.
Although we are predominantly an aviation fraternity, we accept pledges of all majors. Alpha Eta Rho is also a co-ed fraternity at the University of Minnesota,Crookston, and women are more than welcome to join!
Purposes of Alpha Eta Rho
1. To further the cause of aviation in all of its branches.
2. To install in the mind of the public a confidence in aviation.
3. To promote Contacts between the students of aviation and those already engaged in the profession
4. To promote a close affiliation between the students of aviation for the purpose of education and research.
